Holiday markets in Canada always bring warmth, culture, and community spirit, especially during the holiday season. Thanks to the dedicated support of our volunteers, it has become a wonderful tradition to host these events in our parish hall before Christmas and Easter.
|
Our markets feature local artisans and vendors, including some who offer unique Ukrainian-themed crafts and products, creating an ideal holiday shopping opportunity.
With ample free parking and a delicious hot Ukrainian lunch, we welcome everyone to attend.

![]() |       Perogies, also known as varenyky in Ukrainian, have become a beloved food across Canada. The sale of perogies in Canada is an important symbol of cultural diversity and tradition. And it’s also a way to raise funds for charity initiatives in Ukrainian communities.
Throughout the past few months volunteers from the Parish branches of Ukrainian Catholic Women’s League of Canada and Knights of Columbus Fr. Markian Shashkevych Council 7464 have joined forces to prepare delicious Ukrainian take-out meals as a means of raising funds for humanitarian needs.
These eforts has been warmly received by the residents of Burlington and has enabled us to support many Ukrainian newcomers to Canada in their time of need.
Therefore, we are going to make it a regular event. Follow our website and save the dates for the next Perogies Dinner events.
